Done with "let's hang out sometime"?
Find your people through shared interests, not looks. Meet nearby, when you're free.
Built different, on purpose
No photos. Not even one.
Preset avatars only. You choose hangouts based on shared interests, not how someone looks. Less bias, less pressure, more "we actually have things in common."
Meetings of 2-5 people.
Small enough to actually get to know everyone. Big enough for a real conversation. No crowd to disappear into and every person is there on purpose.

Gone when it's over.
The group chat exists to coordinate. Once the hangout ends, all messages are deleted. No group chats that outlive the moment. What happens offline, stays there.
With belongi, you just go
You already know what you want to do. The hard part is finding people free at the same time, nearby, who actually share your vibe.
Find your people through interests
Pick 5 to 25 interests. Join hangouts with people who have something in common with you.
100+ interest tags across sports, culture, causes, music, food & more
Better with your people in it
Meeting someone once is the easy part. Add them as a friend and the rest gets easier too: no group chat to keep alive, no five messages to land on a time that works.

Not sent, your calendar says you're busyExample of the times two friends are both free
Every time here is free on both your calendars, so there's nothing left to negotiate.
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. belongi reads free and busy blocks only, never your event titles, guests, or locations.
Add the people you actually met
Share your invite link or QR code, or tap "Add friend" right on the profile of someone from your hangout. Add a nickname to your profile and your friends see it in place of your username.
See what they're planning
When a friend creates a hangout you get a heads-up, not an invitation you have to answer. Their hangouts sit at the top when you browse, and you can keep one just for friends.
Agree on a time in one go
Propose a slot straight to a friend. They take it or send one back, and the moment you agree it becomes a real hangout, chat included.
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before signing up
belongi is an app for meeting people in person through shared activities in Berlin. You create or join small-group hangouts — real outings, in real places, with people who share your interests. Think a bouldering session, a coffee meetup, a board game afternoon in a café, or a vinyl market visit.
The app handles the matching and coordination. The rest happens offline.
A hangout is a real-life meetup organised through belongi — between 2 and 5 people, in a public place in Berlin. It has a date, a time, a location, and a purpose. It's not a group chat, a forum, or a social feed.
The exact venue name and address are only visible to accepted participants — the public listing shows the postcode only.
Once the hangout is over, it's over: all hangout data is deleted when the event ends.
Anyone in Berlin who wants to meet new people through things they actually enjoy doing. Berlin is a city where it can feel surprisingly hard to make genuine connections — lots of "we should hang out sometime" that never happens, or social circles that stay surface-level. belongi is built for people who are done with that. It works especially well for newcomers, remote workers, and anyone looking to grow their circle beyond dating apps.
belongi is free to use. Individual hangouts might have a cost (like a class fee or a ticket) — the organiser sets that when they create the hangout.
